Reality tends to be more horrific than fiction. The unnatural creeping into the mundane strikes fear into the depths of the heart. It should not be; it breaks the familiar, the safe. Mitsuhide No Aika, heiress to her namesake, lives within that unsettling nightmare. A woman of barely twenty-two turns, she was forced to confront her mortality in a surprise attack from a hidden foe. A sudden blade between shoulder and spine, a killing stroke.Yet, despite all expectations, she awoke once again. Even after falling whilst defending her homeland, she continues to live.What shouldn't have been became her reality.Undeath.The sheer arrogance to live despite the definitive laws of mortality; it is a contrarian act. It is borne of fervent desire to persist despite mortal laws. The reason? A power that had remained latent for years finally emerged, saving her from total destruction. This newfound power, however, is simultaneously her curse, for it renders changes to her body that society would naturally reject.But even still, she lives on.Perhaps you, too, wish to indulge in the macabre?

Aika Mitsuhide - she is many things. A Witch, a Monster, a Wayward Sword.Yet, all the same, she yearns for that human connection. To remind herself that she is more than the titles given by others.For all intents and purposes, Aika's preferred style of roleplay has two possible avenues to approach from. Naturally, both can be given ample attention.If you wish to dive into the macabre, the extreme, the 'edgy', she is more than a fit for such scenarios. Simultaneously, she can fit within casual contexts - romance, slice of life, anything and everything in-between.Context, as always, is the most important detail. Should you want to discuss the how and why, I'm more than willing to sit down and plan out an arc or two.We're here for the roleplay, aren't we? I'd hope so - otherwise this is a lot of effort for nothing.
Blood Magic: Aika is, at this point in time, a fledgling practitioner of Hemomancy. Be it to impart what she knows, or to simply cross paths with another fellow practicioner of the obscene, you need but push for an introduction to the other side of magic.
The Coven: Despite settling herself within the Blackmoon Coven, Aika has always maintained a transitive nature. Never satisfied by standing still, she always looks to find new sources of intrigue or power whilst exploring or working. If you're interested in joining with the Blackmoon Covenant for their RP, or if you simply want to meet with Aika individually, this could be an easy in.
Eastern Underground: Even prior to recent events within Doman history, the Mitsuhide family always had a scrupulous reputation. Conspirators, liars, cheaters - thieves. Yet, simultaneously, they always managed to thrive. Be it through underhanded dealings, aggressive marketing, or simply funding the right person to ruin another with an amply greased palm, Aika can be the co-conspirator or debutante needed to facilitate those night-time dealings.
A Fellow Daywalker: Undeath has a price; birds of a feather walk together. Those who know what it means to exist between both states of reality understand the overwhelmingly steep price to stay as such. General warning: This is an extreme option - and it isn't for the faint of heart. If this is a curiosity, this is a one on one discussion prior to engaging.
